What Time Does Game of Thrones Air?

It might feel like years have passed since you last watched Game of Thrones — it’s a totally fair feeling considering the insane cliffhangers the show ended on. So, as Sunday night approaches, instead of accidentally seeing spoilers, watch Game of Thrones at the right time on HBO Go and HBO Now.

The network announced in 2015 that it would air the entirety of season five at the same time around the world. But for those of you without cable, don’t worry. You can watch Game of Thrones on HBO Go and Now at the same time it premieres on TV. To be perfectly clear, it premieres on July 16 at 9 p.m. ET. So even if you’re on the West Coast, you can watch it on HBO GO and HBO Now at 6 p.m. local time (or whenever you want to start it after that time).

Keep in mind that HBO Go may crash on July 16 due to the amount of people trying to access the service. It’s happened in the past, and while we hope it doesn’t again, you never know. So either hope for the best and turn on your TV at that time or wait until a little bit past 9 p.m. to watch the show.
